Teddy Bear Tea

Miss Page's class and Miss Sara's class had a wonderful time at our Teddy Bear Tea Party today. We drank tea (Pink Lemonade) and ate yummy apple slices with cream cheese topped with teddy grams! It was the social event of the season!

Please send your child's favorite Teddy or other stuffed animal to school, Wednesday April 27th and Thursday April 28th. Miss Page will be sending pretend tea.

Miss Dee had her baby!

I am so happy to announce that Miss Dee had a baby girl Monday, March 7, 2011. Miss Kennedy Nicole Carter was born at 7:36 am. She was 6 lbs and 1 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. Mama and baby are fine! Praise the Lord for a safe birth!

Fun with Play Dough

We had so much fun today improving our fine motor skills!
Here is how you can make your own play dough at home!
You will need:
1 cup flour, sifted
1/2 cup salt
3 tablespoons of oil
1 package of unsweetened Kool Aid
1 cup boiling water
Mix the flour, salt, Kool Aid, and oil together in a large bowl. Add the 1 cup of boiling water and mix well. Let cool and store in an air tight zip lock bag!

Valentine's Day Parties

We are looking forward to our Valentine Parties! The 2/5 day class party will be on February 10 at 10:30 am! The 3/5 day Valentine Party will be February 14 at 10:30 am. Please send 10 signed Valentine's on that day. Please limit any candy to one piece per Valentine. No goodie bags please! Sugar and school do not mix!

SNOW in Atlanta

Atlanta as seen more snow than I can remember. We have mised a whole week of school but when we get back to school we will have so much fun learning all about God's beautiful Creation.

We have been learning a new Snowman song to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot"!

I'm a little snowman short and fat,
Here are my buttions
Here is my hat.

When the sun comes out
I cannot play
I just slowly melt away.
