Happy Thanksgiving

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands... Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good. Psalm 100:1,4-5

We are thankful for so many things, but we are especially thankful for our grandparents and the wonderful Thanksgiving service they came to share with us this week.

Have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving Holiday!

A Turkey is a Funny Bird

We are learning a cute poem for Thanksgiving and Grandparent's Day. Ask your child if he can say it for you.

A turkey is a funny bird,
His head goes wobble, wobble.

All he knows is just one word,
Gobble, gobble, gobble.

Nations Called to Thank God

The Scriptures make it clear that not just individuals, but nations, are to remember works that God has done for them.

The failure of Americans to thank the Almighty for what He providentially did to sustain the New England settlers with their first harvest, to direct our Founders in winning their freedom from Britain, and to shape their Bible-based constitutional government and free market economy, has contributed to our rejection of the God of Providence, the exalting of the false gods of secular humanism and socialism, and the worship of man and the state.

What better time for Americans to remember the God of their Fathers and how He blessed them throughout their history than on Thanksgiving Day?
